Who We Are

NETWorks is a cooperative of churches in the Northlake-Embry Hills-Tucker area that provides food and financial assistance to residents and seeks to partner with them to find long-term solutions to poverty.

Holly has been working with NETWorks for the last 7 years as a volunteer, two terms as Board Secretary, Board President from 2010-2013, and currently as the Executive Director.

If you would like to learn more or get involved, email holly@joinEIRO.com or call 770.939.6454.

In 2013 NETWorks redistributed over $25,000 in financial aid and 21,000 pounds of food to over 3,200 people.

What We Do

Weekly Appointments. NETWorks welcomes neighbors for food and financial appointments three days a week (M,W,F) from 10am to 1pm. If you would like to donate to NETWorks, click here

Food Co-Op.  The food co-op gives us a special opportunity to partner with neighbors to address food insecurity. Co-op members pay dues, help place orders with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and distribute food at each bi-monthly meeting. Fellowship and encouragement is an important part of each meeting. Members receive a variety of fresh and non-perishable food items based on their household size. Our food co-op is modeled after Urban Recipe, a food co-op ministry in operation in Atlanta since 1991.

Good Neighbor Christmas. This annual Christmas gift shop allows us to preserve the pride and dignity of the families we serve in our community. We accomplish this by collecting new toy donations and selling them at extremely affordable prices, instead of giving them away, believing that our families would prefer to provide for themselves instead of receiving a handout. Learn more.

Taste of Tucker. Each fall, NETWorks partners with a host of community members to bring over two dozen local restaurants to set up booths on Main Street. This food festival not only builds community, creates new partnership, and is one of Tucker's yearly marquee events, it is NETWorks's largest fundraiser.
