EIRO / i row / noun
a catalyst for healthy church-community partnership

Through coalition building, spiritual formation and missional training, EIRO helps local churches partner with their community in healthy ways. We hope you will learn more about what we do or contact us so that we can join together in what God is doing in your neighborhood.

Our Vision

EIRO is a member of the Christian Community Development Association, a network of Christians committed to seeing people and communities holistically restored. We believe that God wants to restore us not only to right relationship with God but also with our own true selves, our families and our communities.

Our History

EIRO, which is pronounced "I row" by the way, comes from a Greek verb that simply means "to join." EIRO is a collaborative ministry that joins people together in pursuit of the Kingdom in their neighborhood. The word and our vision both come from Luke 10:1-9

Our model utilizes the gifts within congregations and their communities to work together for everyone's best interest. Building networks of relationships and trust, EIRO helps congregations connect with their community authentically.

HOLLY & SHAWN DUNCAN - CO-FOUNDERS OF EIRO

Holly and Shawn founded EIRO as a Division of the Focused Community Strategies in March 2013. They share a passion to see the church be who God intends her to be, a foretaste and sign of the Kingdom here on earth. Listen to a sermon they preached at First Baptist Tucker.
